Natashya’s Therapeutic Approaches

Natashya has a fun and relaxed approach when working with children and teens but still utilizes evidence-based treatments to promote adaptive coping skills. Parents are always part of planning when discussing recommendations for home and school. With adults, she  works with her clients to understand expectations and identify goals.  Taking a client-centred approach is key. Having realistic therapy homework in between sessions is always considered.

She has completed the Basic, Advanced, and Enhanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy training. She has also completed Prolonged Exposure Therapy training. DBT Skills is another type of evidence-based therapy she uses to compliment trauma treatment.
